Series DDM-3000 Dynamic Instrument
DDM-3020/3035 Dynamic instrument for Outer Diameter Measuring & Control is new generation of instrument for outer diameter measuring & control of our company. It employs such new technology and as high speed pulse IR light source, high precision CCD computer digital image processing and features high precision, good stability, long service time, high scan rate and excellent dynamic performance. DDM-3020 has a structure that integrates measurement, display and control into one body. It is easy to mount and use the instrument.
DSP-3S/3D Diameter Display is used in combination with DDM Diameter Measurement/Control System to give remote display of diameter measurement.

Mounting position
DDM-3020 Dynamic Instrument for Outer Diameter Measuring & Control may be mounted before or after the cooling trough. When mounted before the cooling trough, an optimized controlling effect may be obtained through in-time feedback due to the proximity of the measuring head to the extruder. But at this time the plastic coating is not cured so the set nominal value must be accordingly. When mounted after the cooling trough, the measured value is the real diameter of the wire or cable. But the controlling effect is not so good because of large control lag. Be sure to blow dry the tested wire or cable otherwise the measuring precision will be affected by the water coating around the wire or cable. In practical use, the nominal value shall be increased appropriately according to the water content of the test object.
